What is Reiki

Reiki means Universal spirit of life energy. The word ‘Reiki’ derives from two Japanese syllables:
Rei – meaning universal spirit or essence and Ki – which means life energy or light.

Reiki does not heal, rather it empowers you to redirect your energy to rectify imbalances and activate natural repair mechanisms to instigate improvement and healing to your mind, body and spirit. Reiki is a wonderful modality on its own, and for those people using homoeopathy, it will enhance the effect of the remedy as it encourages energy to flow more freely.

The flow of life energy through us is what keeps us alive, yet this flow is uneven in many of us. The stresses and tensions of our daily lives and thought patterns combine to create blocks and imbalances in the flow. These blocks are reflected in the body and can manifest themselves as malfunctions, discomforts or disease.

Reiki is the feeling of being reconnected to your source of “coming home”. Reiki accelerates the body’s ability to heal physical and mental ailments and assists you to correct situations that can lead to discomfort.
